Welcome to Decimals. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Decimals platform, which connects talented candidates, trusted domain experts, and client companies. By registering for or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Decimals Work Ltd is a UK-registered company that provides a talent-matching platform. Candidates use the service to showcase their skills and connect with opportunities, domain experts use it to recommend and introduce candidates to employers, and client companies use it to discover and hire talent. To use the platform, you must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts. If you are using the platform on behalf of a company, you must have the authority to bind that company to these Terms.
When you create an account with Decimals, you are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and current information, and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must not impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity.
As a candidate, you may upload your CV, LinkedIn profile, portfolio, voice notes, and other professional details. You are responsible for ensuring that this material is accurate and lawful. As a domain expert, you may submit referrals, role specifications, and hiring feedback, and you agree to act in good faith when recommending candidates. As a client company, you may post job specifications and review referrals, and you may only use candidate information for genuine hiring purposes.
Decimals’ services are free for candidates. Domain experts may be compensated for successful placements subject to separate agreements. Clients agree to pay fees for successful placements, as set out in separate commercial terms. All fees are payable in GBP unless otherwise agreed, and late payments may accrue statutory interest.
You agree not to misuse the platform. This includes uploading unlawful, discriminatory, or offensive content; attempting to interfere with platform security or performance; scraping or copying data; or using the service in ways that compete with or harm Decimals. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms.
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy (www.decimals.co/privacy). By using our services, you consent to the collection and processing of your data as outlined there. Candidate data is only shared with authorized experts and client companies for legitimate hiring purposes. You retain ownership of any materials you upload, but grant us a limited license to process and display that content as necessary to provide the service.
All intellectual property on the platform, including our branding, logos, software, and design, belongs to Decimals. You may not copy, distribute, or modify our intellectual property without permission. Any feedback you provide may be used to improve our services without obligation or compensation.
Decimals provides its platform “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that candidates will be hired or that employers will find a particular hire successful. Nor do we guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Decimals is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability in any case will not exceed the greater of £500 or the amount paid by you to Decimals in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or misuse the platform. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. We may update these Terms from time to time, and significant changes will be communicated via email or a platform notice. Continued use of the platform after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
